Facilities & Equipment
Asin Optics has built a closed loop encompassing inspection, data processing, CAM generation, CNC polishing, and re-inspection, focusing on high-power laser systems, ultraviolet lithography systems, infrared guidance, and aerospace optics. We have achieved precision manufacturing capabilities for complex surface shapes, large-aperture optics, and mass production.
Asin Optics possesses the capability to produce and inspect all types of optical surfaces, including planar, spherical, aspherical, off-axis aspherical, and freeform surfaces with diameters exceeding 2000 mm. It supports the production and processing of large-aperture, ultra-thin parts, and irregularly shaped components such as circles, ellipses, rectangles, polygons, sectors, rings, and even arbitrary shapes.
Materials range from hard and brittle materials to metal substrates, including:
Optical glass
K9, ULE, microcrystalline glass, quartz.
Crystal materials
Sapphire, single-crystal silicon, CaF₂, MgF₂, LiF, Ge, ZnSe.
Metal materials
Oxygen-free copper, aluminum alloys, nickel-based alloys, SiC, etc.
Grating Force-Controlled CNC Polishing System
Our grating force-controlled CNC polishing system utilizes an industrial-grade six-axis robotic arm, equipped with a polishing module and a digital process control system.
The robotic arm’s positioning accuracy is +/-0.02nm, and its repeatability is better than +/-0.01mm.
Simultaneously, a 0.1N-level closed-loop force control system ensures dynamic stability during the processing.
Surface Shape and Wavefront Detection Capabilities
Surface shape detection accuracy reaches:
- PV better than 60 nm @ 2σ.
- Ra <= 0.5 nm.
- RMS better than 12 nm, better than Class III.
Capable of stable detection of complex components such as parabolic mirrors, ultrathin sheets, and large-aperture mirrors.
Dedicated CAM System
Our CNC polishing system is equipped with a dedicated CAM system, enabling:
- Multi-axis linkage trajectory planning
- Real-time material removal rate prediction
- Online interferometry data feedback compensation, supporting multiple mainstream inspection data formats such as dat/xyz/point cloud/CSV, and can directly interface with interferometers, profilometers, and third-party inspection systems.
- A multi-material processing parameter database, supporting batch consistency.
Zeiss Coordinate Measuring System (CMM)
We utilize the Zeiss CMM system to build 3D geometric and structural metrology capabilities, primarily for detecting the geometric dimensions and form and position errors of optical structural components, mounting reference surfaces, and optomechanical interfaces, ensuring the adjustability between optical components and mechanical references.
Data Processing Capabilities
Advantages of our CNC software system:
- Supports modeling of planes, spheres, aspherical surfaces, and freeform surfaces
- 3D visual interactive (X-Z/Y-Z) positioning to remove defective points and avoid machining errors
- Supports irregular shapes such as circles, rectangles, and polygons, with input specified via CSV
- Filtering and Zernike analysis (2nd to 5th order): used for error decomposition and targeted correction/preservation of aberrations, with customized filtering strategies for different optical system requirements.
